Fruit d’Or offers a wide variety of certified organic products and certified kosher products. Fruit d’Or is the most important manufacturer of organic cranberry products in North America. Fresh products are sold in supermarkets & grocery stores during the fall season. Dried & frozen products are largely use by food manufacturers such as bakeries, cereal & juice companies as well as food distributors & manufacturers. Cranberry & sweet blueberry products are mostly used in the making of cereal bars, dried fruit snacks and muesli cereals.

History
In the beginning of the 90’s, Mario Carrier (founding partner) started drying fruits & vegetables on a small scale. He began an extensive research on color, shape and nutritional value preservation of fruits & vegetables. Today, Fruit d’Or can proudly say that Mr. Carrier’s efforts were key factors in making Fruit d’Or’s products stand out from the competition.
In 1999, Mr. Carrier & Martin Le Moine joined forces. In addition to being one of the first cranberry producers of Québec, Mr.Le Moine was and is still North America’s most important organic cranberry producer. In collaboration with the Laval University, Mr.Le Moine lead numerous research projects at his farm. The knowledge acquired over the years is now being carried over to Fruit d’Or’s daily operations.
Thanks to Mr. Carrier & Mr. Le Moine’s expertise & knowledge, only 2 weeks were necessary to come up with the level of quality that can now be found in Fruit d’Or’s dried cranberry products. Both quickly understood that many buyers would be interested in their products and that this meant increasing production capacity and expanding facilities in order to satisfy customer demand.
In 2000, Fruit d’Or brought in two new partners: Mr. Denis Bédard & Mr. Sylvain Dufour. Mr. Bédard is one of the most important Canadian cranberry producers while Mr. Dufour is a food market specialist & consultant. The group then undertook the construction of a new production facility.

Location
Our facilities are located in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes (Québec, Canada),  the very hearthland of cranberry production; this strategic location provides for instant acess to large stocks of first-grade cranberries. Over the the last 20 years, the Québec province has become one of the most progressive cranberry producer and the Notre-dame-de-Lourdes region has ideal climate, productive soils and  abundant freshwater; all of which make up for exceptionaly good growing conditions!

At Fruit d’Or, we believe that all of our customers, and their products, are unique. That is why we put all our efforts into understanding our customers and complying to their requirements. We have been conducting numerous R&D projects with many of our business partners and whatever your requirements are, our trained & qualified teams are there to meet your needs.

Quality control
From the field to the plant, Fruit d’Or applies a vertical quality control system: we take care in choosing the cranberry producers who will provide Fruit d’Or with its raw materials. We have a complete tracking system that covers production from the fields to shipping to the customer.
All our products are 100% organic. They are 100% free of genetically modified crops, 100% fat-free (trans-fat & cholesterol) and are processed in a 100% nut free facility.
