Approved by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), FSSC 22000 is a management system on food safety based on ISO 22000: 2005 and the prerequisite programs, BSI PAS 220 to better manage and ensure the safety of food products.

All our products are Kosher certified by the Jewish Community Council of Montreal (JCCM). Therefore, all our products bear the MK (Montreal Kosher) logo.

Since June 2007, Fruit d’Or Inc. has been a member of the C-TPAT program « Customs – Trade Partnership Against Terrorism » under the authority of the American agency: U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The C-TPAT program is a joined initiative between the American government and companies to develop a business relationship designed to secure the Canada-U.S. border and the whole supply chain business.

Every Fruit d’Or product is certified by the American Institute of Baking (AIB). Compliance with rigorous standards, closely monitored in all our facilities ensures a higher degree of hygiene. We therefore guarantee our clients that our products are manufactured, packaged and transported in an extremely clean environment.

Certification of the Canadian Foods Inspection Agency (CFIA) ensures that our products are processed in establishments approved by the federal government. Annual inspections enable Fruit d’Or to maintain high quality standards and to develop, consistently and effectively, its quality assurance system.

Fruit d’Or is committed to trying to reduce its ecological footprint and is continually seeking to improve ways of recycling and salvaging waste. Fruit d’Or became certified in 2009. This program seeks to give recognition to ICI establishments (Industries, Companies, Institutions) that encourage, develop and promote reduction, reuse, salvaging and recycling.
