Salad
- 750 g (1 2/3 lb) green beans, cut in 3
- 2 cans of 540 ml chickpeas, rinced and drained
- 1 red onion, cut in two and minced
- 250 ml (1 cup) grilled red Pepper, diced
- 250 ml (1 cup) Fruit d'Or dried cranberries
Cook beans in boiling water for 5 minutes or until tender crisp. Drain immediately and refresh in cold water. Place in a salad bowl. Add other ingrédients and pour the dressing. Toss to combine.
Basilic and sesame desssing
- 3 garlic cloves
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp basil leaves, chopped
- salt
- ground blak pepper
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 1 tbsp roasted sesame oil
Puree garlic cloves in the food processor. Add the next four ingrédients and puree again. Slowly pour in oils while mixing. Adjust the seasonnings to taste
