Over the years, Fruit d’Or has become the Canadian leader in cranberry & blueberry processing; “Fruit d’Or is also the most important business across the globe in the market of organic cranberry processing” says Fruit d’Or’s president Martin Le Moine. Established in 2000, Fruit d’Or currently employs more than 100 full-time workers and has reached sales over 20 million dollars while exporting to more than 20 countries.

Fruit d’Or is Canada’s 3rd fastest growing company! Fruit d’Or came out 3rd in the “THE 2006 PROFIT 100” listing of the magazine “Profit”. The 2006 July edition of the Canadian business magazine reveals Canada’s 100 fastest growing business and awarded the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes business (located in the Bois-Francs region) the 3rd place. Fruit d’Or is North America’s most important manufacturer of organic cranberries, Canada’s leader in cranberry processing and the most important player in the worldwide market of organic cranberry processing. Fruit d’Or also manufactures dried & frozen blueberries.

Mr. Sylvain Dufour, sales and marketing vice-president, has been awarded the “Prix de l’excellence à l’exportation bioalimentaire du Québec” by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries & Food. This award recognizes an exporter’s exceptional achievements, involvement to business growth and participation to the Québec organic food market. Over the last 5 years, Mr. Dufour has developed export markets in 25 countries which account for 80% of total sales.
2005 – Expansion
Our customers’ ever increasing interests for our product have been translating into constant sales progression and have propelled Fruit d’Or to invest 7 million dollars in the construction of new high-tech drying facilities & equipments. This investment will make it possible to increase production capacity and allow greater flexibility to satisfy customer needs.
